Executive director, People and Culture
Chiraag heads up the RCP’s People and Culture function.
The department supports the work of the treasurer by recruiting, engaging, rewarding, nurturing, developing, retaining and promoting the wellbeing of a talented workforce. The People and Culture function provides best practice support across the organisation.
Chiraag has worked in HR for over 20 years and has held a range of roles delivering specialist functions such as recruitment, learning and development, and leading on employee relations and policy development, with a strong public sector background. Since joining the RCP in 2015, he has worked collaboratively with the HR team to continuously improve the HR service.
The team plays a leading role in developing and implementing People and Culture strategies and ensuring that the RCP continuously strives to become an organisation characterised by its inclusivity and values of taking care, learning and being collaborative.
Chiraag firmly believes that a strong People and Culture function, that delivers its services with integrity, while managing risks and engaging employees, is integral to organisational success.
