Trainees Committee representative – Eastern
Dr Anthony Martinelli is a registrar in respiratory medicine, based in Cambridge.
He joined the Trainees Committee in 2022 and is aiming to advocate for trainees, focusing on practical issues such as the cost of training and the educational experience of medical specialist registrars.
He is currently undertaking a PhD, researching cellular iron metabolism, and is also keen to promote academic medicine as part of his role. He would like to hear from any doctor in the region who is experiencing difficulties in postgraduate training.
