The Royal College of Physicians' (RCP's) second dedicated trainees conference will offer a multistream programme and will feature case-based sessions on how to progress in your career.

Who should attend

Trainee doctors of all specialities.

Showcase your work

We invite submissions of abstracts to be considered for poster presentation at the conference. We encourage submission of abstracts on the following topics:

  • improving educational experience
  • creating a supportive environment
  • ensuring safe and effective healthcare

Abstracts will be accepted from all health professionals and organisations, including those overseas.

Abstract reviewing

Abstracts will be peer reviewed through a ‘blind’ reviewing process and scored against the following criteria:

  • abstract quality (there should be clear objectives, design and discussion, and an appropriate conclusion)
  • originality
  • scientific merit
  • clinical relevance.

Submitting your abstract

Abstracts should be submitted via email to conferences@rcplondon.ac.uk with the completed submission form.

Submitted abstracts must adhere to the formatting requirements and use the template provided. Abstracts that do not meet the requirements or have not used the template will be automatically rejected.

The deadline to submit abstracts is Friday 1 November 2019.
