Update in medicine – Loughborough 2024
We look forward to welcoming delegates to this one-day Update in medicine conference.
This is a full-day conference – registration will open from 8.15am until 9.15am. Refreshments and lunch are provided. We expect the event to finish at approximately 4.50pm. Please note we require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cater for specific dietary requirements.

- Management of acute GI bleed emergencies
- Cardiology – changing pathways
- Neutropenic sepsis in an emergency setting
- The artist formerly known as diabetes insipidus.

By car
Just 1 mile from junction 23 of the M1, with substantial car parking. Use the postcode LE11 3GR or type 'Holywell Way, Loughborough' into your sat-nav. Leave junction 23 of the M1, taking the A512 Ashby Road to Loughborough. At the first roundabout, turn right into Holywell Way (signposted for Burleigh Court and Holywell Park). Once you've got your visitor badge from the gatehouse, go straight on at the next two roundabouts and enter the Holywell Park car park.
By train
The centre is within easy reach of Loughborough railway station. The university shuttle bus service Kinchbus Number 7 runs every 10 minutes from the station with a stop located directly next to Holywell Park. Taxis are available from the station and would cost around £8.
