This guide was produced in 2007 to support clinicians in Wales who have been presented with analyses of hospital activity data describing their practice. Specifically, to support the provision and interpretation of individual clinicians’ data.This guide was developed through a clinical coding project conducted across Wales, England and Scotland to examine the potential use of hospital activity data to support consultant appraisal.
