The RCP is launching its first blog competition, by asking junior doctors to describe what single change would improve their lives as doctors for the better.
Following the success of June's An Evening with the Officers event, we are launching a blog competition to hear more about the experiences of junior doctors working on the medical frontline. Junior doctors are invited to write a 500-700 word article outlining one change that would make life as a doctor better. Entrants are encouraged to include their own personal experiences of life on the 'shop floor', with a focus on one of three themes:
- wellbeing
- working conditions
- patient safety.
The competition
Entries will be shortlisted by RCP president Jane Dacre, and published on the RCP site with the winning entry voted for by the public via a Twitter vote posted on @RCPLondon.
The competition open on 7.00am Wednesday 1 September 2016, and will close on Wednesday 28 September 2016 23.59pm.
Voting will commence on Monday 3 October 7.00am until Sunday 16 October 23.59pm and the winner will be annouced on Monday 17 October at 17.30pm.
