The Lilly Lecture 2016 takes place on Wednesday 20 April from 7pm. This year's lecture is by Baroness Cumberlege CBE DL, House of Lords, and the subject is 'Take me to your leader'.

Background to the lecture
Founded in 1966 as the result of a benefaction by Eli Lilly and Company, the Lilly Lecture is delivered by a person of distinction from any country of the free world, either a physician or someone whose contribution would have a bearing on clinical medicine.
In 2011, the terms of the lectureship were changed to cover medical leadership.
