Medicine 2020 abstract competition is launched

Whether it’s an on-going piece of research work or an initial idea, we want to hear from you.

Academic vice president Cheng-Hock Toh, lead officer responsible for Medicine 2020, says: “Abstracts will be published in our RCP journals. Do use this opportunity to advance and disseminate knowledge at the landmark annual conference of the RCP!”

Prizes as well as profile for your work:

  • the presenter of the winning abstract will receive £1,000
  • the two presenters who are runners up will both receive £500 each
  • all three successful abstracts will be published in the RCP journals, as well as being featured on the RCP’s main website
  • presenters of all three successful abstracts will each receive two tickets for the Harveian Oration and dinner in October 2020.

Abstract topics:

  • health services and policy
  • clinical
  • research and innovation
  • education, training and medical professionalism
  • quality improvement and patient safety.
