Hosted at the RCP's award-winning conference venue in Regent's Park and online, delegates will enjoy over 30 hours of content including the latest updates in acute, general and specialty medicine, interactive sessions and workshops, wellbeing activities and networking opportunities with the RCP community.

We are delighted to be joined by England’s chief medical officer, Professor Sir Chris Whitty, who will open the conference with a keynote discussion on air quality and its effects on health.

Tailored content for physicians at every career stage

Curated with the support of the RCP’s medical specialties board, delegates will be able to choose from plenary sessions in over 10 specialties including geriatrics, haematology, palliative care and diabetes. Visit the online programme page to find out more.

Closing the first day of the conference, Olympic gold medallist and resident doctor, Dr Imogen Grant, will share her experiences and lessons on teamwork and managing stressful environments. Her unique perspective as both an athlete and a medical professional will offer valuable takeaways for attendees.

On day two, former Academy of Medical Royal College Resident Doctor Committee chair, Dr Waqas Akhtar will lead a main stage discussion with resident doctors, including Dr Anthony Martinelli, Dr Hatty Douthwaite and Dr Kapil Agarwal. The panel will debate the future of postgraduate medical training and present the findings of our 2025 next generation survey.

In what will be our biggest abstract competition yet, over 150 doctors will showcase research on sustainable healthcare, the NHS workforce, digital health, medical education and training, quality improvement and patient safety.

Dr Mumtaz Patel, incoming RCP president, said:

"Medicine 25 will be an exciting opportunity to discuss many of the biggest issues in modern healthcare – from the urgent need for sustainable healthcare practices, to the transformative potential of digital innovation, and the importance of supporting the medical workforce. It will bring together clinicians, researchers and system leaders, providing the opportunity for physicians at every stage of their career and every medical specialty to come together and shape the future of medicine. I am very much looking forward to seeing you all there."
