As a consequence of the ongoing global COVID-19 situation, the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK took the extremely difficult but necessary decision to cancel all MRCP(UK) examinations in the UK and internationally from Monday 16 March until September 2020. It has also issued new advice on trainee progression in 2020.
The Federation is now pleased to confirm that the MRCP(UK) clinical and written examinations will recommence this Autumn, both in the UK and internationally. Read the full statement here.
The Federation was established to support the education and training of physicians and is fully aware that the uncertainties around exams and training are causing considerable anxiety. It has been working hard to provide clear positions on all aspects between ourselves and the training systems in the UK and is updating the Joint Royal Colleges of Physicians Training Board website regularly.
