The Royal College of Physicians of London (RCP) and the Global Health Alliance (GHA) have joined forces to deliver a series of training courses in New Delhi aimed at supporting junior doctors preparing to take the MRCP(UK) Practical Assessment of Clinical Examination Skills (PACES).
The globally-recognised MRCP(UK) diploma is designed to test the skills, knowledge and behaviour of doctors in training, and is split into three parts: Parts 1 and 2 (both written exams) and PACES, a challenging assessment of the trainee’s clinical and communication skills.
The courses, during which participants will receive detailed feedback on their clinical examination skills and participate in simulated communications and ethics scenarios, are set to take place at the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi in January 2017, with the first beginning on 9 January and the second on 12 January.
Trainees interested in attending the courses should contact Liz Avital, RCP senior operations manager for India, to express their interest: Liz.Avital@rcplondon.ac.uk.
The application window opens on Thursday 20 October 2016.
