RCP fellows and members receive New Year honours

Many areas of medicine and science have been recognised and once again the work of many recipients during the pandemic highlighted.

RCP president Professor Andrew Goddard said:

“Congratulations to all those who have been honoured for their contributions to very many different areas of medicine and public health. A year ago, I commented that these were difficult days for the NHS and they remain so, with the challenge even greater for many 12 months on as they deal with the impact of the latest COVID-19 variant after nearly 2 years responding to the pandemic. I am prouder than ever to be president of the RCP, whose members and fellows contribute so much.”
