Many fellows and members of the RCP were included in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2021, including several receiving well-deserved recognitions for their work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
RCP president Andrew Goddard said: “Congratulations to all those who have been honoured for their contributions to the NHS, to public health, to medical education, to medical research, international health and more besides, including the response to the pandemic. The past year has been one of the hardest many of us have ever faced, so to see the enormous contribution of our members and fellows at such a difficult time for both health care staff and patients, makes me incredibly proud.”
