RCP seeking associate international director for international medical graduates

This 4-year post offers a unique opportunity to build upon the success of the RCP’s Medical Training Initiative (MTI). The MTI team works to support both international doctors who have already identified a suitable post in the UK, and also those who are looking for a placement.

The associate international director for international medical graduates will:

  • work with the head of international affairs and the MTI programme manager to design, implement, monitor and evaluate a 4-year MTI strategy aimed at increasing the number of MTI participants
  • advise and support the MTI team on all clinical aspects of all applications and posts
  • promote the MTI in the UK and overseas, acting as an ambassador and advocate for the RCP
  • lead overseas interviews
  • liaise with host trusts, working to resolve concerns and disputes when they occur.

This is an honorary position which will involve international travel.
