What is the RCP Charter Cycle?

To mark the RCP's 500th anniversary in 2018, Dr Andrew 'Bod' Goddard is cycling 2,018 miles around the UK in order to meet physicians from as many acute NHS trusts as possible. He is carrying the RCP500 Charter with him for fellows and members to sign, reiterating the core values amongst physicians which the RCP has upheld since 1518.

Dr Goddard is cycling in support of Physicians for Africa. This RCP project wants to raise £100,000 in order to train more physicians in east, central and southern Africa with the goal of establishing, in partnership with a group of leading local doctors, a much-needed physicians college in the region.
