The Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP) will be attending a series of free to attend regional masterclasses which are being delivered by Public Health England (PHE) through the National Cardiovascular Health Intelligence Network (NCVIN).
Cardiovascular disease affects around 6 million people in the UK and is a significant cause of disability and death, affecting individuals, families and communities. The NHS spent about £6.8 billion on cardiovascular disease in 2012/13. These half-day events aim to increase understanding of the knowledge and evidence available across the cardiovascular family of diseases, including stroke.
Who can attend
All primary care, secondary care and public health colleagues are invited to attend these sessions, which are free to attend for NHS and local authority staff. The masterclasses are aimed at anyone in a commissioning or service improvement role.
These master classes are a fantastic opportunity for anyone who uses SSNAP or would like to know more, to hear from and speak to quality improvement experts from the SSNAP audit programme.
