Members of the RCP, the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow are delivering two more training courses aimed at supporting Burmese trainees preparing to take the MRCP(UK) PACES exam in Yangon in January 2017.
The 2-day courses, a collaboration with the University of Medicine 1, take place at Yangon General Hospital on 24–25 / 26–27 January 2017. The focus of the first day is firmly on communication skills (including history taking and breaking bad news) with candidates rotating around several clinical stations on day two.
Why attend?
The intensive courses, during which attendees will participate in a series of simulated PACES stations, are designed to help candidates familiarise themselves with the format of the exam, while developing their clinical examination and communication skills with support from experienced local and UK examiners.
PACES timings are used throughout, with candidates receiving feedback from UK and local faculty at the end of each station.
