Ahead of the House of Commons debate on health inequalities on Wednesday 4 March 2020, the RCP sent a briefing to members of parliament outlining our position.
The briefing highlights that in order to support and enable the medical profession to promote healthier lifestyles, the government must act to tackle the significant and growing health inequalities in society. In addition, the document highlights our key public health calls on obesity, smoking, air quality and alcohol.
