Post-fall medical examination after an inpatient fall

This resource has been developed to be used by organisations providing health services for individuals receiving care in an inpatient setting.  The guidance used is for patients 16 years or older.  It has been adapted for use for inpatient falls and therefore, scenarios involving high-energy trauma commonly encountered in emergency departments (ED) have been deliberately omitted.
