Dr Frankie Fan introduces his work in colorectal cancer prevention and the COLO-PREVENT trial.
COLO-PREVENT is a randomised platform trial embedded within the bowel cancer screening program, currently active at 19 sites with plans to expand to 60. Dr. Fan places emphasis on the need for new trial sites and highlights the role of social media outreach in engaging potential partners.

A medical researcher and research fellow for the COLO-PREVENT trial. Dr Frankie Fran graduated from the University of Leicester in 2021, with an intercalated Neuroscience degree from the University of Bristol.
With clinical experience in Leicester and Kettering, they co-led the BRACE-1 study and worked with the NHS Midlands Clinical Senate on surgical innovation and emergency care research.
