Mentoring Skills - NHSE - 8 May 2025

This half day workshop is a commissioned event organised by NHSE and is for selected delegates only.

By the end of the workshop, you will be able to:

• Define the role of a mentor and understand the difference between a coach and a mentor.
• Consider the skills and qualities of an effective mentor.
• Outline the basic principles of a successful mentoring relationship.
• Discuss the stages of the GROW model and apply the model in practice.
• Reflect on your own personal development needs as a mentor.
