PSN Day 1

The interactive first day workshop of the Peer Support Network programme will empower you to explore your educator role. Through interactive discussions and practical activities this workshop will help you to explore educational practice and identify areas for your educational development. We will explore your ideas for your projects through a tutorial with tutors and your peers in a mutually supportive environment.

By the end of the workshop you will be able to: 

• Be aware of how the Peer Support Network Programme – will help you to develop as educators in a mutually supportive professional environment
• Recognise how the 12 roles of a teacher operate in a clinical setting
• Identify where your own strengths and areas for development as a clinical educator lie
• Identify different ways to maximise learning in the clinical environment
• Recognise the requirements of the educational initiative.
